I’m used to your superficial sentiments.
Go ahead, project your frustration,
As if I were your live-in servant,
Go ahead, brag about your glory,
We both know that’s only one side of the story.
Go ahead, be untouchable,
You can make manipulation sound magical,
Go ahead, be unfair,
Most of the time you just pretend to care.
100 good days,
1 bad day washes it all away,
Everyone else walks on eggshells,
Anticipating the next D Day from hell.
I’m done curling up in a ball,
I’ll stay tall even if the sky falls,
Go ahead with any shade of your personality,
Many might find you trustworthy, but not me.
